Here are my overdue campaign photos. This month I planned to paint four models: both heavies, Hunter and Trencher Master Gunner. Only this many, as I will be travelling for two weeks.
Oto zaległe zdjęcia na początek etapu. W tym miesiącu planuję pomalować cztery modele: oba ciężkie jacki, Huntera i Miszcza(sic!) Artylerii.

Texas Gaming

Last Friday I arrived at Area 51 Gaming and Collectibles store in Grapevine. Contrary to my hotel room, the lightning in the hall was excellent. So I decided to stay for a small painting session.Store owner was very kind and allowed me to use some of his paints. I can only take this many paints on me when boarding the airplane. They need to fit into a small standard bag.
W piątek odwiedziłem sklep Area 51 Gaming and Collectibles w Grapevine. W przeciwieństwie do mojego pokoju hotelowego, sklep jest doskonale oświetlony. Postanowiłem skorzystać i usiadłem sobie grzecznie w kąciku, aby nie przeszkadzając nikomu pomalować ludzika. Właściciel sklepu był bardzo uprzejmy i pozwolił mi skorzystać z jego farb. Mogę zabrać ze sobą bardzo niewiele farbek, kiedy podróżuję samolotem. Wszystkie muszą się zmieścić w standardowym foliowym woreczku.

The gaming area available in the store is immense. Friday Night Magic tournament with few dozens of participants merely filled one side of the room. The other side was available for tabletop gamers. There were a few casual battles going.
Miejsce do grania w sklepie jest oszałamiające. Turniej FNM, w którym uczesniczyło kilkudziesięciu graczy, ledwie zapełnił połowę sali. Druga strona pozostała dostępna dla amatorów bitewniaków. Na kilku stołach toczyły się bitwy.

After the painting session I took my trencher buddy for a small walk.
Po sesji malarskiej zabrałem trenczera na mały spacerek po hali.

Unfortunately, flesh colors were in short supply. I will pop up in Deonton the next day and give the guy face. Meanwhile I am quite pleased with the armor grit.
Niestety, cielistych kolorów zabrakło. Wybiore się do Denton następnego dnia, aby zmajstrować panopkowi buźkę. Tymczasem, jestem całkiem zadowolony z osadu na pancerzu. 

While walking around the area, we had noticed something peculiar.
Spacerująć po hali, zauważyliśmy coś nietypowego.

One table was turned into a workbench with a fleet of hi-tec gear in the making.
Jeden ze stołów posłużył jako warsztat z technologicznie zaawansowaną flotą in speculum.

Ladies and gentleman, enter the Dropzone Commander.

Trencher Master Gunner

First, the traveller's showcase. A nifty little 1 dollar gadget. 

Najpierw miły gadżet za dolara: podróżna gablotka.

You may pull the cover out and place it backwards, turning it into a convenient working handle.
Pokrywke można przymocować od spodu. Wtedy gablotka zmienia się w uchwyt do malowania.

Shoulder pads are painted with airbrush. I started the greatcoat with the orange-ish brown triad that will contrast nicely with Cygnar blues. Just as the original design.
Naramienniki pomalowałem aerografem razem z warjackami. Do płaszcza użyłem pomarańczowo-brązowej triady, która będzie ładnie kontrastować z błękitem Cygnaru. Tak jak na obrazku z pudełka. 

The greatcoat is ready. Now for the details.
Płaszcz jest gotowy, czas na detale.

Reaper Game Store

Last Saturday I went to Reaper Game Store in Denton - the very heart of Texan geekiness. They have a nice little shop with all their stock plenty of gaming area right next to the production line and warehouse.

On Saturdays Reaper's staff painters sit together with hobbyists for a small workshop. You may take a peek at their craft and receive some advice directly from the brains behind Reaper paint line. They may even take you for a tour around their factory.

Currently they are very busy putting together Bones kickstarter orders. Now for the best part: Reaper purchased a full-blown industrial injection molder and will be mass printing plastic kits. Personally, I cannot wait to see the clockwork dragon in sprues. The test model looks just fantastic.

W poprzednią sobotę zawitałem w samym sercu teksańskiej geekowatości: sklepie Reaper Game Store w Denton. Zaraz obok linii produkcyjnej i magazynu mają tam śliczny mały sklep z mnóstwem miejsca do grania.

W soboty nadworni malarze Reapera siadają razem z hobbystami i organizują mały warsztat. Można ich podejrzeć przy pracy i zasięgnąć porady wprost od geniuszu stojącego za linią farbek Reapera. 

Jeśli się ładnie uśmiechnąć, przemili ludzie mogą nawet zaproponować małą wycieczkę po fabryczce. W tej chwili załoga jest bardzo zajęta kompletowaniem zamówień na zestawy z Kickstartera Bones. A teraz najlepsze: Reaper właśnie kupił przemysłową tłoczarkę i będzie masowo produkować zestawy z plastiku. Osobiście nie mogę się doczekać widoku "clockwork dragona" w ramkach wtryskowych. Model próbny jest po prostu fantastyczny.

The Travelling Painter

I am right in the middle of business travel. I did not want to miss on my painting, though. Therefore, I prepared a travelbox for my heavies.

Jestem w trakcie podróży służbowej. Nie chciałem jednak przegapić okazji do malowania. Przygotowałem więc pudełko podróżne na moje ciężkie wsparcie.

I did not bother taking my camera, therefore for couple of weeks I will be making photos with BlackbeBerry.
Both Jacks are have base blues and metallics painted with airbrush. Now time for details and shades.

Nie zabrałem ze sobą aparatu, dlatego przez najbliższe dwa tygodnie zdjęcia będą pochodzić z BlackBerry.
Oba jacki otrzymały podstawowe błękity i metale z aerografu. Teraz czas na detale i cienie.

While packing I forgot to publish photo with basecoated jacks and gunner. I hope The Noble Jury will not ban me just now - I shall upload it as soon as I get back home and pick the camera. Photos are the, I swear.

Podczas pakowania zapomniałem wrzucić na bloga zdjęcia z jackami i gunnerem w samym podkładzie. Mam nadzieję, że Sznowne Jury nie zdyskwalifikuje mnie zanim wróce i chwycę za aparat. Zdjęcia są zrobione, zapewniam!

Today I picked up all campaign minis and lined them up on the wooden table. Some minis were started. The ones worth loosing campaign points are three goblin bodgers, squire and hunter's right arm (my first NMM attempt). The rest will be stripped and started from primer.

Dzisiaj zebrałem wszystkie figurki startujące w przedsięwzięciu i ustawiłem na drewnianym stole. Niektóre są napoczęte. Spośród nich, warte utraty paru punktów to trzej goblini-mechanicy, squire oraz prawe ramie huntera (mojej pierwszej próby NMM).

My LHS will sponsor a painting competition. Sounds like opportunity to paint my Cygnar army and start gaming seriously. 

Mój lokalny diler plastikowego cracku postanowił sponsorować konkurs malarski. Wygląda na dobrą okazję, by w końcu pomalować moją armię Cygnaru i zacząć nią grać na poważnie.

Here is my army rooster. Some of the models are started, which will set me back few points. Unless I strip the paint and start from scratch.

A więc oto moja lista. Niektóre modele są napoczęte, co pozbawi mnie kilku punktów. Chyba, że zmyję farbę i zacznę od nowa.
